Jude Oluyomi Akanbi is a graduate of the Premier University, University of Ibadan where he bagged First Class Honours in the Department of Religious Studies and has a Master’s in Old Testament Studies as well. He is currently in his PhD programmes at the same University. He is an emerging scholar in Biblical studies with keen interest in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament, the theology and literature), Formative Period of Israelite History with special focus on Pentateuchal Studies, Postcolonial and decolonial inquiry on Second Temple Period Jewish, ancient wisdom literature, prophecy in the ancient Near Eastern and Mediterranean context, Septuagint, Dead Sea Scrolls, Greek New Testament, and Early Christianity doctrine, Theology and History, Areas in African Tradition Religion such as Sacrifice, divination, cosmogony concept, God-Concept and morality. He has a few publications presented in local and international conferences and journals.
